Brittany & William: Modern Coastal Joy in the Heights of Ravello

The Vision: A Sophisticated Coastal Symphony

For Brittany and William, a vibrant couple from the United States, the Amalfi Coast was the ultimate destination—but Ravello was the specific dream. They sought a celebration that moved away from the “cliché” coastal wedding, opting instead for a Modern Joyful narrative. IWP Italian Wedding Planners (part of the Sposiamovi group) designed a three-day experience (July 6–8, 2024) that balanced the high-altitude glamour of Ravello with a soulful, high-energy atmosphere.

From the first sunset toast to the final dance overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, the weekend was a masterclass in “Contemporary Amalfi Luxury”—where historic architecture meets a fresh, editorial aesthetic.

The Welcome: Sunset Over the Coast at Palazzo Pascal

The weekend began at Palazzo Pascal, one of the most ancient and prestigious villas in the area, situated at one of Ravello’s highest points. The welcome party was designed to give guests a breathtaking introduction to the coast. With 180-degree views of the sea and the rugged cliffs of Scala, the evening was a relaxed yet chic affair.

Captured by Pina Ciervo, the welcome event utilized custom rentals from GEG Party Service and bespoke lighting by Antares Events to create a sunset lounge atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand, setting the tone for the joyful days to follow.

The Wedding Day: Liberty-Style Elegance at Villa Eva

For the main event, the celebration moved to Villa Eva, an exclusive Art Nouveau jewel surrounded by a vast park of ancient trees. Unlike many coastal venues, Villa Eva offers a 360-degree view of the coast and total privacy.

The symbolic ceremony was a high-point of “Modern Joy.” In a departure from traditional classical music, Brittany and William chose the powerhouse energy of the CK Gospel Choir. Their soulful performance added a contemporary, emotional depth to the ceremony, creating a “Joyful” energy that resonated through the villa’s gardens.

Design Concept: Modern Botanical & Vibrant Textures

The aesthetic direction, titled “Modern Coastal,” was executed by Maria Vittoria Pesino Flowers.

• The Floral Narrative: The design prioritized sculptural forms and vibrant white-on-green textures, reflecting the lemon groves and lush cliffs of Ravello. The installations felt architectural and fresh, perfectly complementing the liberty-style lines of the villa.
• The Beauty Brief: Beauty Livery curated a look for Brittany that was “Red Carpet Ready”—a sophisticated, luminous style designed to transition from the afternoon sun to the high-energy evening party.
• Artisanal Branding: Letteraventidue designed a stationery suite that acted as a modern tribute to the coast—minimalist, elegant, and perfectly coordinated with the event’s contemporary soul.

The Finale: A Night of Lights and Sound

The evening reception was a masterclass in production. Capone Service transformed the villa’s terrace with a custom lighting design that highlighted the villa’s facade and the surrounding park. As the stars came out over the Amalfi Coast, the energy shifted into a high-octane celebration, ensuring that Brittany and William’s “Joyful” vision was realized on the dance floor.

Capturing the Narrative: Elisabetta Marzetti & Film Factory

To document a wedding of this visual scale, we collaborated with Elisabetta Marzetti. Her photography is renowned for its editorial composition and its ability to capture the “vibe” of a modern celebration. Every frame feels like a high-fashion editorial set against the blue of the Mediterranean. Film Factory Films provided the cinematic cinematography, weaving together the sounds of the Gospel choir and the sea breeze into a world-class film that preserves the legacy of this Ravello dream.
