IWP Italian Wedding Planners (part of the Sposiamovi group) designed a bespoke experience on June 27, 2023, at Relais Villa Vittoria, focusing on a “Luxury Elegant” narrative that allowed the natural beauty of Laglio to take center stage.

This was a celebration defined by “Como Chic”—a blend of effortless Italian style and world-class hospitality, curated for a modern, international inner circle.

The Setting: A Private Sanctuary on the Water

Relais Villa Vittoria is situated in one of the lake’s most famous enclaves, known for its quiet prestige and illustrious residents. For American couples seeking a “Lake View” wedding that feels intimately connected to the water, this villa is a masterpiece. Its infinity pool, jasmine-scented gardens, and lakeside terraces offer a sense of “Boutique Luxury” that is rare in the larger grand hotels of the region.

The experience was punctuated by a quintessential Lake Como moment: the couple’s arrival via a vintage wooden motorboat provided by Como Classic Boats. This cinematic entrance served as the ultimate high-fashion statement, framing the couple against the deep blue of the lake and the pastel-colored villas of the shoreline.

Design Concept: “Como Chic” & Botanical Artistry

The creative direction focused on “Refined Transparency,” ensuring the décor enhanced the lake’s luminous light.

• The Floral Narrative: Riccardo Ciceri executed a concept of “Elegant Sophistication.” Using a palette of crisp whites and architectural greenery, the floral design acted as a frame for the lake views. The arrangements were structured yet airy, reflecting the contemporary luxury aesthetic favored by the new generation of destination couples.
• The Art of the Table: Tableset Rentals provided a sophisticated foundation for the reception. From the curated glassware to the fine linens, the tablescapes were designed to reflect the soft, summer light, creating a dining experience that felt like a private gala on a floating garden.
• The Beauty Brief: The Studio Como curated a look for Gretchen that was the epitome of “Luminous Elegance”—a timeless, radiant style designed to look flawless from the sun-drenched boat arrival to the late-night dancing under the stars.

Gastronomy & Sensory Details

A wedding at Relais Villa Vittoria is a celebration of the senses. The culinary program focused on high-end regional excellence, culminating in a bespoke creation by Qualcosa di Dolce, whose cake design acted as a minimalist, edible masterpiece.

The Atmosphere: Blunotte Eventi designed a lighting and audio scheme that was both subtle and transformative. As the moon rose over the Grigne mountains, the villa was bathed in a warm, sophisticated glow, highlighting the historic architecture while maintaining an intimate, candlelit atmosphere.

To document a wedding of this visual scale, we collaborated with Paola Lattarini.
