IWP Italian Wedding Planners (part of the Sposiamovi group) designed a bespoke experience on May 16, 2025, at Villa Regina Teodolinda—a venue celebrated for its lush lakeside gardens and its exclusive location in the “Celebrity Quarter” of Laglio.

The celebration was defined by “Luxury Elegance,” focusing on a timeless aesthetic that allowed the natural beauty of the Larian landscape to act as the primary décor.

The Setting: An Intimate Jewel on the Water

Villa Regina Teodolinda is one of the lake’s most enchanting retreats. Accessible by boat and hidden behind ivy-covered walls, it offers a level of privacy that high-profile couples demand. For Samantha and Jason, the villa provided a seamless flow between the historic interiors and the manicured lawn that meets the water’s edge.

The symbolic ceremony was staged directly on the lakefront. As the spring sun danced on the water, the couple exchanged vows framed by the rugged mountains of the opposite shore—a moment of pure “Como Magic” that is both cinematic and profoundly intimate.

The creative direction focused on an “Elevated Garden” aesthetic, ensuring the visuals felt organic yet impeccably polished.

• The Floral Narrative: Vertuani Fiori executed a concept of “Botanical Sophistication.” Using a palette of soft, luminous whites and garden-style greenery, the floral installations felt like a natural extension of the villa’s own gardens, trailing up the historic ironwork and framing the panoramic views.
• The Beauty Brief: The Studio Como curated a look for Samantha that was the epitome of “Timeless Radiance”—a luminous, high-fashion style designed to look effortless under the bright May sun.
• Artisanal Branding: Mogu Wedding designed a stationery suite that reflected the venue’s elegant soul—minimalist typography and tactile papers that introduced guests to the weekend’s sophisticated tone.

Gastronomy & Contemporary Celebration

A wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda is an absolute sensory journey. Sunlake Catering curated a culinary program that celebrated the finest regional ingredients, served alfresco under the villa’s romantic loggias.

• The Soundtrack: Blunotte Eventi designed a lighting and audio scheme that transformed the villa as evening fell. The transition from the emotional ceremony into a high-energy celebration was seamless, turning the garden into an elite outdoor lounge.
• The Playful Touch: In a nod to modern “Joyful” luxury, the couple included the Vintage Photobus. This iconic piece of Italian design provided a whimsical, high-fashion interaction for the guests, capturing the celebration’s spirit in a unique, tangible format.
